Mixed feeling about it, but as far looking from a Business Perspective it makes sense and really give motivation to get them going which is better for all. Plus they still have to capitalize on it. Anyways if your a existing person/player do to how things close you typically get plenty of points from previous Debates that were open longer.

Not a good idea, if you have been here and been making points when they started the point system, and someone new joins they just jump right over you for nothing... shit I was 6th place and now I’m not even on the list.. need a better way of doing it...

It does get new players on board but like the other side says...what about the existing customers?its like cox cable offering reduced rate for new customers when they have been taping me for twenty years!maybe credit the existing users the 100 points automatically or maybe give them half as a token of good faith?

Great move and seems to be working! Never really participated or invested my time to “win” anything. I’ve always understood sided.co was beta and was trying to help the team with content, feedback and development. What great friends do! 🤙

It’s obviously working, but if you look at the leaderboard, those players are not really interacting that often. It’s cool though. The more, the merrier, and the farther I get from repeating as champion.

Anything that get's more people on Sided and continually using the platform is a good thing not only for the designers, but for us users as well. Leads to more diverse topics, comments, voting, competition, etc.

Thank you Sir, appreciate the kind words and back at you! I do engage on sided a bunch that's for sure🤣 Probably won't be as much since they are sending out the prizes and as they get closer to the final product 👍

You are a good dude! And you win a bunch!

Adapt or die, plus eventually this app will help content as well for the Show(s).

I agree. This App will at some point host thousands. Many of the initial hundreds will keep playing despite the setback
