I will say NO! Here’s why...Bo Jackson was a freak of nature type of athlete, and he may have gone down as the GOAT, but he got hurt, and never fulfilled all he may have become! When you look at Deon Sanders, another two sport athlete, he had a better NFL career, and had a respectable baseball career. So without diving into the history of multi sport athletes, if that is your criteria, just Deon alone makes me say NO to BO!

No doubt in my book, when I get asked about who's the greatest RB of all time, I mentioned Bo Jackson. Simply because he was doing things in the NFL that no one had seen before and done it quick. Records were going to be shattered.

The Raiders had a lot of great players but no Raider was better than Bo

Charles Kaplan

When you say greatest athlete doesn't durability come into account? If so then no.
I believe that plays a part in the decision for sure. In terms of pure athletic ability yes, he's probably one of the most athletic players in the Raiders history.

Albert Long

I am not a Raiders fan but I remember lots of players who deserve this designation. These three, Fred Biletnikoff, Jim Otto and Ken Stabler are on my list. Bo was great because he was a two-sport wonder. Not GROAT (greatest Raider of all time).

Bob Rauch

Liked watching Jackson And Alan (the only players I liked that played for the raiders) and hated when my former team had to face off against them.

Joe Rigby

It's too bad about the hip, but Bo came in from the baseball field, after sitting a few years removed from Auburn, and immediately took the RB1 spot away from Marcus Allen in his prime. So yeah, Bo was not only the greatest Raiders athlete, but one of the greatest athletes of all time, any sports.

Christopher Moreno

He took over for Marcus Allen, who was pretty good himself

Darrin Schallock

What a talent. I don’t know the history of the Raiders, but I remember marveling at his skills.

Question was about Raiders homie! So are you taking George Blanda, Jimmy Plunkett, or Kenny Stabler over Bo here?

No, you are right, I thought about that after I wrote it but even Tim Brown could be there. Bo had injuries so if we took out length of service/injuries, he might be the best. Still an interesting question, sorry I didn't concentrate on 'athlete!'

I hear ya, others accomplished more than Bo while wearing the silver and back, but this question is asking who you think is the Greatest Raider Athlete of All Time (GRAAT)... You still got Stabler over Bo?
