Is $100,000 a month a fair price for an AM radio antenna that reaches all of Southern California?

Think about it, an AM radio station is paying over a million a year for their signal! That’s crazy to me considering AM radio is dying out. I have been mostly streaming the Mighty 1090 for the last 3 years and prefer the on air talents voices via stream. Honestly I have no idea about radio but it just seems like the Broadcast Company of the America’s is over paying for an outdated service.

Kelli, I agree, BCA was over paying for the transmitter, and eventually, depending on how this all shakes out, I will tell you the detailed truth, about who the players were in this mess, and how these characters really hurt a lot of people. Even if this gets worked out, 1090 gets back on the air waves, and a new management team takes over, there is a larger story to tell, and frankly, the media covering the story of why 1090 was taken off the air, has completely missed the ‘who' was responsible!
