Do you respect Drew Brees more or less after his apology?

he didn't need to apologize because we wont accept it. wise man once said "always pay attention to what a person says the first time because that's how they truly feel"he only did it to get the attention. I really like brees also but even after his apology i really think he does not still get it.

Less for sure, because it just shows how empty/meaningless/dumb the first statement he made was. Doesn't even have the courage to stand with what he said and how he feels about it, would have more if he had not backed down. It just bring the questions that I asked in the first place, which is why did he even say anything.

He shouldn't have had to apologize! I agree with him and I am not a racist. You demand free speech but only if it fits your narrative!

As I read elsewhere today, his apology rings hollow. Drew’s had several years since Colin first took a knee to listen to fellow players and teammates. Now, when his reputation and future earnings are in jeopardy he’s suddenly willing to listen? I’m not buying it.

I respect Drew Breese more after the apology. Anytime you are willing to humble yourself for the betterment of your brother or sister is a noble thing.

i respect him about the same really. while i don't agree with his original opinion, i appreciate his ability to see the impact it had and to apologize for appearing insensitive

If he is apologizing to cover his a$$ - then I do not agree with what he did. If he felt that way he should deal with the implications.

Drew Breese said nothing wrong. We all know that Kapernick and his mindless minons are not protesting the flag however when they choose to kneel for the national anthem THEY!!! make it about the flag . Breese should have stuck to his opinion he will regret it when he is older and out of the limelight .

The tolerant left sure picks weird foes. I’m afraid of Trump’s actions, but the far left agenda might be scarier.

Drew spoke his peace and then realized he had offended his own teammates. I respect him for both. He is human, give him a break. He was also sincere.
