As much as I'd love to feel how they react to the road during a run, I'm not keen on the $250 price tag. If I was racing multiple races a year, I may consider it but dang... at that price I'd want some guarantees! :)

Unless you are a pro and looking for an edge to set a world record, these are overpriced and a waste of money. Great marketing by Nike though, limiting supply to drive up demand.If you're looking for an alternative, Hoka has a similar shoe, the Carbon X, that's less expensive and has great reviews.

A lot of money for a pair of shoes your going to wear down. I do buy a pair of running/jogging shoes and spend a 100 bucks or so, but can't seem my self spending 250 bucks on a pair shoes that might help. Plus from my experience and advise I've been given, Nike shoes are great but wear down/breakdown fast.
