If there are any common threads to Trumps time in the White House, one has to be his need to prove that he has more power than everyone else.  This is just one more example of that.

Seems like the most logical reason was left out of the poll (intentional snark?), so I am voting here since the actual reason is tied to the protestors, though it has nothing to do with silencing them

I chose scared even though I agree that he’s more demonstrating his power... it’s his fear and insecurity at his core that drives people and other “dictators” like him.  He is not a leader of people!
