Supreme Court says states can punish Electoral College voters

Do you agree with the Supreme Court's ruling allowing states to punish members of the Electoral College?

Jacob Polacheck

I support the constitution so I support this

VERIFIED

And I do not always agree with the Supreme Court. No reason to create what would in essence be another election.

Bob Rauch

So if you elected the electoral representative then you in fact are getting what you voted for. Why must you punish them. They are doing there job by casting their vote. It seems like they’re trying to control the vote.

Albert Long

Seems to make sense. My only concern is a state manipulating and electoral member by threatening to punish them or a state not punishing someone to get there way

Derrick McQuinn

Electors should vote in line with their state's rules
