Since a trophy will be awarded today...what is the best trophy in major sports??

To me, there isn't much debate because not only is the Cup the toughest team trophy to win it's also the best trophy. First of all, all of the players names are etched on the plates affixed to the ever-expanding base. Secondly, each player on the winning team gets to spend a day with the Cup in off-season and celebrate any way they see fit. Lastly, aside from the treasured Claret Jug, it's the only other trophy worth winning where you can celebrate by drinking from it!!! Hands down...winner!

Not a big ⚽️ fan after I stopped playing 35 years ago LOL (although it’s growing on me again). I’d have to say it would be the World Cup, awarding the team that truly competes and wins against the very best on the planet ?!

Although I'm not much of an ice hockey fan the Stanley Cup is easily the best trophy in major sports. So much tradition from the players as they carry it around the ring and lift it over their heads. Plus the players actually get to have it at home. Now everyone take a drink.

Some would consider hunting for the Trophy Wife is a major sport but I will have to go with the Stanley Cup. Its a trophy that just keeps getting taller and taller as the names are etched around the sides.NFL and MLB has recently had some issues with cheating which IMO taints the value of the trophy.I am sure some will even say the NASCAR trophy is the best.

It has to be the World Cup. Although I am not a soccer / futbol fan, can't deny that there is no bigger trophy to achieve in sports.

Best trophy without a doubt in sports, hardest trophy to win with a grueling season and playoff series and in the end it's worth it, plus you get to spend a day with it when you win it during the off season
