This morning Skip Bayless was making the argument that Dak Prescott had a better year than Patrick Mahomes.  Need I say more?IMO, these networks have day parts to fill and this is "filler" programming.  Not sure what ratings they garner, but if they are low, they don't care because it would still get a better rating than a game re-run.If you have a stupid take, just yell louder than the other guy, wave your arms and some people will think you're making sense.

I actually don’t love them at all, and lean on the side of not like liking them, but they keep putting them out there, so people must think it’s good TV and continue to give them strong viewership

Skip bayless show is primarily focused on what the cowboys are doing down to the nitty gritty, they cover what Lebron did every night by a game by game matchup including meaningless October games. Pushing a narrative that the Cowboys are the best thing since slice bread

I think the amount of research that goes into these shows is often overlooked. The debaters on First Take, Undisputed, etc. are fun personalities using solid points to defend their arguments. Even if it is scripted, all that does is add to the preparation.
