Will Bill Belichick pass Don Shula (RIP Coach Sula) as the winningest NFL head Coach

No- He doesn't have Brady any more, and he won't coach long enough

Paul Drivas

don't think so because his team is not the same anymore, he may come close but he won't get there.

Bernard Thompson

VERIFIED

Albert Long

He will still win 9-10 games a season in that division, but I doubt he'll coach 6-7 more seasons.

He is almost done. Wait till he sees what a pain in the ass it is without Brady.

Frederick Remick

Yes, easily. The Patriots would be foolish to disrupt their organization at this point with a new coach. As long as he wants to stay, keep him. Should they have 3-4 poor seasons in a row, only then should they consider a change.

Don Benson

I just don't see Belichick willfully quitting before has the record and at least one ring without Brady.

Dan McLellan

He will retire within 3 years. Chula rules. Grumpy Lobster Boat Captain goes away with 6 rings.

Bob Rauch

To me it depends on how many more years he plannings on coaching, the Patriots don't seem to be getting better but worse and non that Bradys gone there will be some type of decline. Which manys over the next couple years I wouldn't expect him to exceed 10 Wins most likely south of that. Which means it probably would take at least 5-6 years. Not sure that he will keep coaching that much longer.

Derrick McQuinn

He is far from done. The man has a huge ego and has accomplished everything that can be accomplished team wise. No chance he'll pass up the opportunity to make personal professional history if it's within his grasp. Don't know if he can win another superbowl but he'll coach the patriots and most likely another team in the future to winning seasons.

Spanos loves me

He will coach just long enough to do this, and then he will leave. I feel dirty commenting on this.

He'd have to win at least 12 games a year for 5 more years to get there. Pretty tough without Tom.
