Central California has good Pinot Noir, Sarah, and some Italian varietials. Of course will find some cabs as well..Love the Santa Ynez area Foxen Canyon trail is beautiful. Start up in Santa Maria and work your way down to Solvang

Lighter bodied reds, mainly pinot noir grow closer to Lampoc closer to the ocean. 

My favorite area is Sonoma County, especially the Russian River Valley. Best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the USA imo.

Don’t drink wine but my lady does and she said it’s all about the central California Reds... Cabernet Sauvignon 🤷‍♂️

Thanks I lived in a Santa Rosa, you’re right it should have been included as well as Santa Barbara and Central Coast
