I think this is a great use. Marcus Maye is a cornerstone of the Jets secondary and honestly $10.5M isn’t a bad price. He could be a big piece to keep around for their looming rebuild.

What a waste. Maye isn't winning them any games. That money could have went somewhere else. Unless they're trading him this was stupid. If they wanted a dominant safety they should have kept Adams.
