This is a weird signing to me. The Broncos are not in a win now situation, so they really don’t need an elite talent for just 1 year. It doesn’t make sense to spend big on a top tier CB for 1 year when you still need to build up your offense and front 7 more for the long term. This contract is just too big to work in this context.
