Now, with a scrappy 12-10 victory against the Cowboys added to the books, the Saints (3-1) continue to serve notice that they have more than a pulse while playing without their iconic-but-injured quarterback.

First Take

So long as Bridgwater can maintain until Brees gets back, this should be the team to beat in the NFC come playoffs. They have a really good D this year, a good kicking game, a potential difference maker in Kamara, and are as balanced oas any team in the NFL on offense. These two teams are evenly matched as last week's game showed, but I'd give the edge to the Saints, they are more experienced at HC and QB.
