Dak Prescott deserves 'a long-term deal for big money'

First Take

No way what has he done? Dude will never take the Cowboys over the hump.

Go win some playoff games get to a Superbowl and then start talking about contracts

Toby McDonald

Dallas and Dak are overrated. I don’t believe he’s done enough to earn big money. Contrast Patrick Mahomes now that dude deserves big money and he got it.

Albert Long

I don’t believe he really does, what has he really proven and considering the cowboys have had some good talent and the best line, crazy he has not produce more or gotten better

Derrick McQuinn

Yeah he probably deserves it.. I don’t know his stats off the top of my head but I’ve seen him play and he was good

Bernard Thompson

VERIFIED

Second tier QB with upside deserves not a huge contract but big.

Bob Rauch

Hasn’t proven he’s elite yet (likely isn’t) in my opinion and should be paid like he is... until he does.

Joe Rigby

Nope, and the cowboys know it! He’s a Kirk Cousins type “game manager”. If they didn’t have Zeke, Dak would be complete garbage.

Coach Alex

The way the NFL works, yes but not for as much as he wants

Jason Finley

Patrick Mahomes just got a massive deal. That deal not dictates the market. Look at how many QB are paid higher than Dak that arent better than Dak. Dak is going to get his money, it just won’t be from the Cowboys. Dak is also only the 3rd QB to ever be franchised & the 2 before him went on to play elsewhere which I imagine he will too.
