With a seven players trade and now a ten player trade done, a World Series championship is the only option if you’re a Padres fan?

I was upset losing Cal Q but can't have everything!

When you root for a team. It’s championship every year

Kinda have to get some type of results otherwise this was a crazy couple of days

At least a World Series appearance is necessary for me.

These deals are setting them up for the playoffs and having a shot this year. Whether they make the playoffs, advance, get to the WS, and win it all is yet to be determined. But for Pads fans it's nice to see them playing consistent winning baseball and trying to improve their chances. Mich better than fire sales, grade B transactions, and selling the fan experience at Petco!

Ya that was the one player in that trade I was a bit sad to see go. However I think upside was we kinda saw his topside.
