Now that the IFL canceled the season, who would be a good radio partner with Burt Grossman on 1090?

Edwin Garcia

Tough choices, but I like Craig. You have to pay close attention to his "jokes" because they're freakin' witty.

Now that we know that you don't have to be physically located together, Maybe Tutino and Fouts would be a good combo.

I think Paul Rudy and Burt at 12 to 3 would be interesting. A) can Burt be counted on to show up daily? B) does Paul Rudy have the stamina or does he take some Total T? C) Can they talk about other stuff for 3 hours?

I like Alex Padilla as cohost. Alex has gotten better over the past few years, sounds more comfortable and relax on the air. Can he host his own show and still produce Scott and Br? Or does he go the Darren Smith route, leave Scott and Br to pursue cohost career?

Sergio Salgado

Tom Walsh

All the choices would be interesting. Each presenting very different dynamics LOL... but like em all! Burt is a must and I think would be great with just about anyone that would be insane enough to give it a shot! But a Burt and Browner show would be epic (add Bulldog to produce maybe??) Killer B’s, all wanting to kill each other by the end of each show??

Joe Rigby

Agreed! Alex and Burt. Call it Burt and Ernesto.

Being that Paul does Good Morning San Diego, this would line up perfectly w/ his schedule. You can tell that Paul and Burt already have that chemistry established, which is a plus; as far as filling up '3 hours', realistically they would only need to talk for two hours. (Each hour is about 40 minutes of talk - 40 mins x 3 hrs = 120 mins.)... All-sports-talk is boring, too. Maybe they can have a blend of 75% sports, 20% other, and 5% Burt's love life. :)

Paul and Burt . Sounds like a KPBS kid show.

Does Rudy have the stamina to keep up with Burt and keep the show flowing?

He is definitely a must-have... He's particularly funny when they trap him in answering questions about his personal life.
