Do you think all-you-can-eat buffets will be around in the future?

Yes, only if they change the model where it is NOT self service like a Manna BBQ Buffet - where they bring the food.

Edwin Garcia

I really don't care for buffets but once I saw Manna BBQ in this answer I had to take this side. So bomb! But, yes with a model where you order and they bring it to you I can see it working.

This is an example of the impact of this overreaction to what amounts to a new flu strain. We allowed media and social media to drive this stupid “plague” storyline. Now 4400 people are out of jobs and a successful SAN DIRGO based company is forced out of business. Just stupid!

Frederick Remick

Nope. Not the end. We inverted the buffet and have employees serving guests. You can still eat from the Buffett--have as much as you like but "no touchy nuttin' man or woman"

Prices will rise because of increased staff needed to serve food. Maybe they can have kiosks where you can sit down and make your selections.

I mean were we really that disgusting and unaware of our personal space and hygiene before all this happened that we cant figure out how to eat at a buffet?

They had glass coverings, people got their food and ate with their table? Im not sure what the issue with buffet is, the reuse of plates and silverware? Or is everyone just trying to overreact, is FEAR the new normal.

Guys night Lab (Jesus)

Ya I don't see this changing people don't change that easily. I would say there are less buffets then there used to be though.

Derrick McQuinn

Hilarious. That will be the first 'buffet' i visit!
