Draymond Green’s lack of defensive production will cost the warriors  the series in the next round!

Green is the anchor of their D and has always come up big on D when the chips are on the line and their backs are against the wall. unless he's injured or mailed it in already, he will find that fire again in this series and next. However, when you think of the Warriors overall performance this series on team D, Green alone is also not going to be the reason that they don't advance or win the title. The Rockets team D, in the paint and on the perimeter, in the half court and in transition, has improved tremendously the last month of the season and now into the playoffs. The Rockets have been holding opponents under 100 , while the Warriors gave up over 120 to the clippers last night at home. Collectively as a unit, tall should be ashamed. They all need to step up and take pride on D if they intend to beat the Clippers and have a shot against the Rockets. Green can lead that effort for sure, but they are going to need KD to stop letting guards go uncontested to the rim for a layup, Klay to close out jumpshooters, and Steph to not let his man go by him on the perimeter and into the paint, thinking they have a legitimate shot blocker to contest. Green definitely needs to step up, but I am more concerned with their team defense and for them not to get complacent with the ball on offense and turnovers. Earlier in the series I was worried that KD hadn't really got going and the team overall looked disinterested. They can't play like that if they want to win it again. To many hungry teams like the Rockets sitting in front of them that are playing good ball.
