I don’t typically tip for pick up and/or take out BUT if I feel I’ve received even above average service during the exchange, I absolutely will. Could be something simple like offering something extra/trinket to my kids or adding a little extra avocado or simple advice or recommendation.. Sorry JB it’s people like me that mess it up for everyone else!

Joe Rigby

Nope. At least I don’t go out my way to. But to Linda’s point on the show yesterday, sometimes they almost force you to with shoving it right up in your face.

"I never been here before, do you want the tip up front or in the end?............ In the end is fine."

I actually do tip, but only a dollar or two, never based on the order value. This makes me think about another debate about beer pouring that I am going to post.

Coach Alex

Never!!!! Absolutely never! You didn’t go out of your way to perform any extra duty than what your paid for. Wishful thinking cashier.

Please watch the beginning of Reservoir Dogs. Should explain my feelings. If I sit down, I tip. If I pick up food, no tip.

The amount of money I'm saving them is more than enough.

Stu Schreiber

Maybe if im paying with cash I'll round up a little but i wont go out of my way to add when there is so little involved in the transaction on their end

Christian Pedersen

I just don't think there is enough of a reason to tip on takeout unless they doing something extra for you, tipping is for customer service people
