Do you believe the rumors Rivers is going to retire?

Stu Schreiber

Don't know who starts these rumors but think Rivers has a couple more years.

I really think he should, I don’t see him playing for another franchise and I think his play will get worse as he continues.

Kelli Calimlin

At this point, I don’t see it happening by his own will. I can see a few scenarios playing out:A) They extend his contract for less money and he plays 2 years or so with the idiot ChargersB) He gets traded to Tennessee, Denver, Miami (or anyone else needed quick QB fix) and plays 1-2 years there.C) He gets released and no one picks him up. (Very doubtful).I respect the guy, but his time is up.

Rivers is having a bad year but I don't blame him for anything other than trying to do too much. He wants to see the LA Chargers through the move into a new stadium. As a Bears fan, I would love to see him there. As a Rivers fan, I'd like to see him win. He has at least one more good year and will go out in style.

No he wants one more year at the new stadium. And the Chargers will give it to him because that’s what the Chargers do. Maybe not 25 million but they will.

Mike Krupinski

He will find another team, even if it is for a couple of seasons. Rivers is too competitive to quit.
