Nah. I’m cool with spending $50-$60 on it.

Seems like a lot for just a controller but I'm not into gaming so not wure what the going rate is

Toby McDonald

I don't game but I know those things do a ton of shit and are very high tech.

I don’t play games but my sons always ask for a new one..

VERIFIED

I tend to accidentally break them when rage quitting on FIFA.

Yes I went to buy a new xbox one controller recently was surprised at the cost. Was way higher then last I bought 2 years ago. So rediculous

Derrick McQuinn

I stay away from all gaming except mobile due to the costs

Michael Johnson

And now they’re even worse because they work with other devices (I.E my girls all wanted new controllers so they could use it with their phones and iPads!) 🤦‍♂️

Joe Rigby

They are a joke but know there is no choice if you need one

Jason Finley

For that money I've got other priorities but that's what makes the world go round!

I’m not that big of a gamer, but I do like to play every once in a while. The games I get are usually $30 max lol. Now I had to spend double just for the controller 😑

Lol not shocking, so many games that encourage hitting mashing which between that and rage quitting shortens controllers lifespans.

Update: I did order the $60 official Xbox one buttt, in the meantime, I got a PowerA brand wired one for only $20 in stock at WalMart. It’s honestly not that bad and is a solid backup.

Last one I bought was like 30 bucks so crazy to see 50-60

My daughter just barely got into playing my Xbox and I’m thinking of getting her a Switch for next year

Or course I can appreciate the work they do...but it still falls under luxury and not necessity.

There actually is...What I didn’t mention is I bought an off brand (PowerA) controller for only $20 while I wait for the Xbox brand controller to ship...it’s actually a really good controller for a third of the price. Only catch is it’s wired.

Absolutely. Prioritization is key. I got a mortgage and bills too.

Are console controllers too expensive?!
