I take real issue with Bob's argument, and I personally like Bob, that most people who die will be over 80. My parents are both over 8, my sister has MS, and my cousin's husband was born with severely reduced lung capacity. I don't belive any of my family members are expendable. It's also simply not true. We now seeing people in their 30s and 40s, my age who are barely sick with disease dying from stroke. The argument that is fading in major cites is also a weak argument. Major cities have major hospitals. We are now seeing this move into rural communities that don't have the hospitals beds to respond to a major outbreak in their communities. That means more people than otherwise need to will likely die in those situations.

How are we validating the numbers.  The media can sway the public opinion.

They are starting to get a handle on this. Plus its believed that the virus won't survive well in the sun and heat witch will hopefully slow down the spread even further.

There are so many reasons for the counts as they stand including Drs calling nearly everything a Covid19 death  (they are paid for these). Reality is 10-50 times as many people have had it than the confirmed numbers so death “rate”  is about same as flu in nearly all general population studies. Its math and science not opinion that matters.

No. We have peaked in major cities and mid-June will see the end of the terror. Calm down, get a grip, most deaths will be over 80 and those with underlying conditions. If you are healthy, COVID-19 is just another of many things that can kill us. Live long, live well!

I don't believe they are getting a handle on it when the increase has cases may have flattened, but not decreased and there has not been a dip in deaths as expected?
