Yes.  Chargers don't need a mega stadium,...just a venue that can be filled week in week out.  Make it hard for visiting teams to access tickets and create a year 'round playground for events, SDSU games, concerts in a walkable venue with cool/fresh retail and restaurants

No way would I ever support the Chargers if the Spanos family still were to own it. If he sold it the new owner  brought the team back the city would go apeshit bananas and that stadium would be rocking!

I'm all for this but get rid of Dean and sons. If I'm the NFL, SDSU and city of SD I'm already talking behind the scenes. Make something happen.

It would be super tough because this city has a tough enough time coordinating major projects like this, so having all these different parties involved could make it a disaster to try and get done. That being said, if they can get it done, I don’t think having Dean as an owner would keep the Chargers from being welcomed back. At the end of the day, I think most of us ex charger fans would rather have them back with Dean than not back at all.

I think the NFL should offer the same deal to SDSU and to a potential new ownership group. The NFL should rid itself from that weasel. They may setting up the plan by raising the debt limit to $1billon against a franchise.

The NFL should refund the 500mil relocation fee as long as it's used towards the building of a new stadium. Pool that money with what SDSU plans to spend to increase the capacity of the stadium to make it NFL worthy.

oh definitely....It'll never work in Los Angeles. The original vote of 30-2 obviously showed the rest of the owners weren't for the move....It's time for the NFL to clean it's trash, and get rid of Spanos, and move the team where it belongs....in Mission Valley

Yes.  Spanos could then put in less money for a stadium and get the Chargers fans back.  If not, they’ll rot in LA.
