This is a clear land-grab by the hoteliers who did everything they could to block the same plan when it included a broader civic roadmap and assets that would have enhanced the city beyond just the convention center. Now, the TOT tax hike they were so adamantly against just a few short years ago, is the exact same funding mechanism they are trying to leverage for a single purpose in conjunction with The Riddler (AKA Mayor Faulconer). This is a scam and the San Diego taxpayers will not be fooled into believing that this is anything other than another attempt by the hoteliers to steal tax revenue that should be used at the discretion of the taxpayers... NOT the hoteliers and the cronies that make up the City Council and Mayor's office (mostly hotelier-owned lackeys by the way).

In general any Tax hike/tax payer paid initiative is just an easy no for me. Especially in CA where we already pay a ton of taxe hat the majority of us never see the result of. Additionally, considering in CA the funds never actually end up going where they were intended to.I mean prefect example is that gas tax to help improve roads, safety, etc. And yet it is already being manipulated to go towards the high speeds rail which will never see. But, ya purely based on the stadium vote and other votes a couple years ago. Why would this all of a sudden be the right/okay thing.

Here is an unpopular opinion.. how bout it doesn't even matter, because like the Chargers measure C those of us in North County didn't even get to vote on the measure to keep our team her.. sooo.. I guess I really dont have a say on this either!
