Basketball is an extremely high scoring sport compared to other sports. At the professional level any team of NBA players could score 100+ points in a game. The decider is the defense. Is your defense good enough to hold the 2016-17 warriors to 90 points? You won’t outdo a team like that on offense. The defensive struggle is that which decides a playoff series. That hustle and grit which makes a 7 seed upset the 2 seed. The answer is defense, because every team has offense by default.
