What do you think of the Profar deal that the Padres made today?

Don't like it, AJ should have kept Urias in there.

Love it, he's only 26, has a decent glove, and some pop in his bat... in AJ we trust.

Kinda meh, has potential to be big but I guess so do all trades, but for what we gave up I don't think its too bad. Still need to get another at least upper end starter.

While I'm not saying that Urias should have never been traded. He should have been part of a bigger trade package for proven talent. Now Preller had to replace him, so he went for a player he could have gotten without trading anything away. Profar was already on his way out the door when AJ called. If he wanted him so much, he could have just signed him and not given anything away. He's just throwing prospects away for journeymen now. SMH.

They had Greg Garcia who could've stepped in to play 2nd base.Still need a good catcher, and the STARTING pitching needs a serious boost!!Profar has pop in his bat, but he's a hack too. Strikes out quite a bit.

Davies is an upgrade over Lauer, but I am of the opinion that they still need to find few more SPs, preferably a Syndegaard by trade and maybe a Bumgardner by FA. I think they ga e up too soon on Urias. He is  probably going to crush it in Miller Park, while Profar is probably going to hit around the mendoza at Petco.
