no because people will still never understand what he is all about . Maybe they see a little more now but in the end they already made up their minds about him. But they need to because he could of opened up so many eyes if people would have just really listened.

Don’t really feel he did anything he should be vindicated for necessarily but I get it... he was seemingly And wrongfully terminated from the NFL for making a much needed and 100% his right, statement in a “controversial” (to many) way.  He made his voice heard how he felt best and although I may feel I would have tried differently I don’t feel he did anything “wrong”

Colin did not handle things well. He became a distraction and no NFL owner wants that unless the player is off the charts great. Colin had a short flash of brilliance, nowhere near the talent that allows owners and coaches to look beyond the challenges. He is not vindicated. He dissed the flag and didn't show respect to our National Anthem. His loss forever.

His message is/was needed and he was in a good position with a strong platform. Unfortunately, the controversial method in which he chose not only resulted in his message being somewhat “lost” it became much more about him and perceived by many as disrespect to our anthem and country. Can’t see being vindicated for a bad decision in the methods he chose.  I personally wish he had chosen a more positive approach given his popularity and platform. I never really disagreed with his intent rather disagreed with his methods.

And he did lose everything, we will have to differ but you are correct about one thing - he did not diss the flag like others, but he did diss teh National Anthem. i do not approve, but that does not make me right. And further, if he is being blackballed that is wrong, he should play if he is still qualified, which I do not know. But he is better than I am!

Bob...you sound like part of the problem. Colin never took a knee to diss the American Flag. He took a knee&nbsp;during the anthem to call attention to the issues of racial inequality and police brutality. Colin never did anything wrong. The only thing he did was exercise his right to peacefully protest which is what people are asking of the protesters right now. He was willing to take the risk of losing everything and stand up for his beliefs.
