I used to like him, but now he doesn’t do anything for us..

I do t think he carries much trade value after this year. Kinda stuck in a weird position. Just let him play out his contract

It'll be hard to do because the the logistics regarding his three-year extension, but at this moment, THT looks better and the Lakers need to be in win now mode with Lebron limping to the finish line.

His sole purpose is to shoot.... and he can't even do that right. Plus he sucks at defense. Just not a good formula. He doesn't fit any designated role on the team. Totally agree with you

I think they need both. To be the best they need to be able to win without one of those two. Their shooting is hot and cold, we do need more consistency shooting the 3.

I like that idea but I think the lakers need more consistent shooters rather than another big name that will take away from the greatness of Lebron and AD. But I like the sentiment to build for “now”

A spot of shooter that is consistent would be perfect. Anyone in mind?

That would be the biggest heist of the century. I wouldn’t mind a couple spot up shooters that can make lebron an even better passer and space out the floor for AD

If we could pull off a deal for steph or clay that’s what we need

Where should they start? I think consistent three point shooters need to be the priority because Wes Matthews, Kyle Kuzma and Markief Morris can’t get it done

I mean the dude is worth a couple boxes of corn flakes now. Not sure how much lower his value can go. Ultimately I don’t think they’ll resign him even if he did turn it around. It seems ex Lakers flourish once they leave LA and I think he’ll do the same. If they can move Kuz, THT and whatever to get Beal I’d do it in a heartbeat

I like the idea but the issue is his trade stock might go even further down if he has one more bad season. The lakers need to ride this “give him time and he’ll flourish” label and get something out of it. You agree?
