Does writing “Black Lives Matter” on the streets make racism go away, or improve lives of colored people in ANY way?

It’s a statement but looks like you don’t get it...

On the surface maybe not but it starts a conversation

Saying this would be as crazy as believing in The Secret. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Hell no it doesn’t make anything better, but if it makes some people feel better, than knock yourself out. While many people have supported BLM, we now have other blatant racists coming out and they won’t apologize. Go Julian Edelman, you are my hero. Now who is going to stand up for Mexicans? Ever been pulled over for a Mexican driving a BMW, Benz etc? I have and so has my son, both professionals. So who will speak up for every race that has been victimized by racism over the years? And now we have to listen to the unapologetic asshole in Baltimore with his Hitler and anti Semitic remarks? Slavery was bad, 6 million dead was worse. So shut the fuck you ignorant, unapologetic, racist asshole!

Avery Martinez

If it makes then feel heard in some way then that's good enough for me.

MaryBeth Zmuda

I think it leaves a sense or message of the immediate community’s awareness which could be considered at the very least a step forward but other than that can’t think of anything else 🤷‍♂️

Th writing does give everyone the ability to more aware of how they are treating others and that everyone is the same. Yet, actions speak louder that words and the only way for change in the injustice is more peaceful protests.

Julia Kaplan

I am not a big protester guy but not sure what this accomplishes.

Jason Finley

No, but if it makes people feel better then go for it. Paint those streets. Who cares?
