That would be a cool idea. Have people drive around town in a scott&BR bus and give out stuff or win prizes. I used to remember when they would throw a big tailgate at the chargers games in section A2. That’s where I met a bunch of friends I still hangout with till this day. Gary “big ego” Darryl “Sensitive” Sykes . Pat. That was a great tailgate crew. Cheers of Ramona ..

Scott said on his show that everything needs to be different this time !

Depends on definition of a street team but they will need some solid Marketing support. Having the owner who owns an ad agency as well he will know this. Will need to be promoting the “new” station throughout Southern California early and often.

when this rona is gone I'm sure there will be some sort of street team that will go out and pimp 1090 at sporting events

Yes, I believe the Scott&BR show should have a radio street team. To start with they should recruit volunteers to keep the costs down. As the station grows and starts becoming more profitable then bring people on staff to do the street promotions etc. I"m sure they would have plenty of volunteers.

Why not promote the brand! I am not a street team guy but it would be fun to swing by before events. If we ever have events!!

I think with how much things have change even media wise I think I agree its time to approach things differently. With so many people on social media or listening digitally do you really need the street team. Even just through the last year it seems like just through the podcast and social media that they were able to fill/do events and do giveaways without a street team, Seems kinda unnecessary to me.

I mean if your at an event and you and see these type of tables, do you really care about some random street team members or just the free shit and does that make you want to listen to show anymore. To me it really doesnt.

Now I do think when the do come back I think its important for them to advertise so people see there back and the team going to events I think is more effective. I think it would be cool for them to do tailgates at different events, but I think there are more effective ways to complete this.

This is what I'm thinking I think this definition is different then what people traditionally thinking.
