Not everyone is going to agree...bottom line right now the heat is on, and if you are not on LeBron's side, you may be fearful you're on the wrong side...not everyone agrees, and if you are Brees, a long time leader of men, you refuse to crumble under the media pressure. Good for Kap for never folding, never apologizing to get his career back, but I suspect Brees will hold firm on his beliefs.

When the whole country / (WORLD) is protesting, Brees still doesn’t understand what Kap was doing this for.... its for this right here,, justice and to treat us Black men, women equal.. it’s not a disrespect at all. Remember your eyes only show you want you want them to see. Look at the picture deeper that you see..-

I understand this whole protest and etc I don't agree, but I understand, the issue is for me isn't about the kneeling or BLM or whatever, to me what I have an issue with is what happened to a person having his own personal views is that not ok anymore? Brees didnt say anything racist, homophobic, Sadistic or rude, but that's not enough he has to share your same view. What if a Christian looked down on you for not believing in what he or she is believing? people hate that about religion and Christians, but that is what is going on here, LEGALISM at its finest, so now Bree's will be bullied into oblivion saying he is part of the problem and naive and doesn't get it and etc.. all the great wonderful things Brees has done means nothing because he dint agree with anthem protesting, we cant look at the man for who he is and how legit he is, because the new normal is its our way or no way, and I can not agree with that!

Don’t know the relationship (if any) between the two. I’d like to think I wouldn’t make a comment like that about someone unless I thought I knew the person well enough to do so. Did Brees leave an impression he didn’t understand or even support Kaepernick‘s message around police brutality and racism or just in the method he chose to express it? I personally struggle with commenting on people’s opinions, feelings, or how they choose to express it... don’t fell its my place unless they ask. LOL can you tell? but feels like a bit of a rush to judge by LJ.

these are the conversations we should all be having. Bron is right

two different viewpoints entirely. Drew Brees is stating that if you kneel during the National Anthem you are disrespecting the flag. Kap is not trying to disrespect the flag he's making a stand for the BLM movement and against police brutality agains blacks.

Sorry, Colin had it wrong. He may not have intentionally disrespected anything or anyone but the message received sucked. I'm afraid perception is reality and many people, black, brown and white, believe that his approach was not ideal. If he really was in the right in his approach, I am convinced, maybe naively, that he would have been well received by the mainstream media and NFL owners. Truth is, I really don't know if he was banned or is not that good anymore. Again, I admit I might be naive here.
