Here’s my lineup for the new Mighty 1090.

Sergio Salgado

I think its Great, but there are tons of podcast out of San Diego, that can fill tons of airtime. Maybe a rotating schedule of podcast?

Clinton St Clair

6-9am Dave Palet- Jeff Dotseth (does not move the needle)9-12 Burt Grossman- Paul Rudy/ Hank Bauer (great bench players)12-3 Jason Lawhead - John Browner (I agree!)3-6 Scott and Br with Linda Welby (Great idea. Kind of like the howard stern/robin dynamic)

Richard Crancer

The two morning shows you have there are just recycled and old school. New, young talent with fresh concepts needs to be developed. And where's Grande? Alex is great and deserves his own show before Browner does.

Mike

I like the idea of Dave and Jeff unfiltered in the evenings. The morning show should target a female co-host, a la someone in the mold of a Tabitha Lipkin before she left for Dallas, to pair with Steven Woods, Darren Smith, and Marty for example. As for talent comprising the other shows throughout a M-F schedule, except for the SK show, where the audience is really become accustomed to and digging on SK hosting with support from AP, Browner, BR, and Welby and guests, I don't think the talent base for the other shows should be limited to whoever has been involved with or a guest on the SK show. They have bring in ringers from Day 1 and that may potentially need for them to extend the talent base considerations beyond SD.

VERIFIED

I love the idea of putting Browner and Lawhead together. Perfect combination! But no Grande? C'mon!

The Red Pimp

Got agree with mike, I think the early morning slot needs some younger up a and comers and love the Idea of Browner and Grande getting in on the action. Also Burt, Bauer and Rudy sounds interesting.

Derrick McQuinn

Alex should stay on as producer of Kaplan show, and either co-host or have his own show. He's young and talented. The new 1090 should focus on younger talent and take the opportunity to attract a whole new young audience to radio, along with all the audio/video streaming content. Ti

I'm with you about AP, my question on an earlier post was if Alex would still produce Scott and Br and host his own show on a different time slot?

maybe he doesn't want his own show? or One of his podcasts can be aired instead?

Feel like you gotta keep AP as the EP of Scott and BR.

But it feels like a total missed opportunity to leave him off the lineup

Agree. I've posted on earlier SIDED post, would AP host his own show and still be EP of Scott and Br? Believe He can!
