How long do you give Andy Green to start winning Baseball Games

Miguel Johnson

If 2020 is the real open to the window, you have to evaluate Green this year and make the change if necessary. Barajas or Alou would be ideal fits.

If the Pads continue to stay in the mix in the NL West and wildcard races, he'll last the year. If they start to slide more and more and like they did on a recent six game losing streak, I can see them making a change mid season. With Barajas around in the clubhouse and on the bench, I definitely think the clock should be ticking on Green's tenure! Remember this is the same GM and ownership group that didn't even give Buddy till the All-Star break the first year in close to a decade where he had decent players to play out the year. I personally don't know what Green brings to the table as a skipper, most of his decisions are made by analytics anyways! It's the other intangibles that matter, like being able to connect and motivate your players, which I am not so sure he is good at. Nice guy though!
