Feature wise, you can’t really live without touch screen tech. Not sure if this is a feature, but having podcasts for free is my personal favorite.

All of the social media apps that keeps me entertained through the day

It is also my watch. But seriously a device that tells time, allows me to call people, keep up on work and family friends, play games and is a flashlight....jackpot

Outside the ability to make and receive phones calls... It would have to be the email/calendar function for me.

In my line of work, I used to carry around a notebook, a video recorder, an audio recorder, a GPS unit, a digital camera, and then would head to a library/repository and home to do more research, make calls, and respond to emails. As long as I have good cell service, which can be spotty at times in various remote locations that I work in, the smart phone has all of these capabilities. On a personal level, I love being able to look something up, the podcast features, and being able to take video/photos on the fly in those key moments with my family and friends.
