At what point do we start getting excited about the Padres' chances of making the playoffs?!

Stay calm. Maybe if they're above .500 at the halfway mark...

Right now. They're off to a great start and they're going to stay in the conversation.

We're barely over 10 games in... are you F'ing kidding? Don't get excited until the season is over and we're in.

This is still the same organization that's made the playoffs five times in 50 years. There definitely appears to be something different about this team and I hope they make a run. They're playing must watch baseball right now.  But this San Diegan isn't thinking playoffs just yet.

The organization deserves fan/community support for sure, this is by far the most exciting and capable team we've had in a long time..., but, it's only early April, they haven't smoked the playoffs since 2006 and, like Andrew said, only five times in fifty years, so we just need to enjoy the ride game by game and put the brakes on playoff discussions.
