What is the reasonable justification for a mother to "electively" kill, have her child killed? There has never been one. The only "abortion" open for "discussion or debate" is an elective, non-nessessary one. + There are zero real examples of a mother "needing" to have an abortion. Needing to kill her child.
Since every State and developed, modern medical care country recognizes a person's detectable heartbeat as "alive", any means of killing a child prior to birth when determinable as alive is already illegal and defined as a homicide.

Question is too vague. Most of us are only against late terms

Ideally it would be illegal except in cases where the health of the mother is at risk. I know a lot of people will say "what about rape and incest?" There are many successful people who were born out of bad situations. They should not be blamed for the sins of their father. Keeping the child or at least carrying to term and then giving the child up for adoption, is often extremely therapeutic for the woman who was attacked. Abortion should never be birth control!

everyone should have the right to choose and religion should be left out of politics

"most likely die in childbirth"? Just how uninformed are you. Deaths in childbirth are relatively rare.

This is a horrible wording for a poll that has extreme variables related to implementation.
That's like a question asking: should people be allowed to vote? That doesn't incorporate legal citizenship age Civic ability or anything related to voting. The wording of a pole is easily manipulated by those that want to address their ideological constraints without actually talking about their ideological constraints

Abortion should 100% be legal, this is because of many morally right reasons. For starters, an abortion ban would be under all circumstances and many abortions are taken place when the mother’s life is in danger, or there is something seriously wrong with the fetus. For example, Preeclampsia and Eclampsia which are cases in which cause High blood pressure, organ damage, and seizures. This can lead to stroke, organ failure, or death. This also happens after 20 weeks of pregnancy. I could go on and on about how a mother could be harmed during a pregnancy, and unfortunately that is only two of the possibilities. We also have to look at the future Childs life AND quality of life. If a women gets impregenated from rape, and does not have a father figure, possibly a child of INCEST, or a child of a very young mother, the youngest being 5 years old. That is not a quality of life, and if you say that they could give the child up for adoption, you are adding yet another child to the already very overpacked system, prove me wrong.

Abortion is murder, period, but in cases where 1) the mothers life is endangered, 2) the pregnant mother is a minor, or 3) in cases of rape

What makes 5 months of a baby being alive a decision point for a mother to choose to kill her child?

Deaths from a mother choosing to kill her child are many times more common than mothers dieing from birthing her child.

Have you never heard of situations where the mother's life is at risk? Conditions like, Ectopic, Preeclampsia, Eclampsia, Placental Abruption? Very much a needed abortion, you are looking at this close minded, only thinking of an irresponsable teenager and not the thousands of people who have bled out during pregnancy or labor John. If you are against abortion DO NOT HAVE ONE. Stop mansplaining and open a book.

I agree, especially since religion is subjective; everyone has their own religion and beliefs.

Should abortion be legal?
