Does anyone think a “no response” to a voicemail, text message or any other message is rude?

No, people are entitled to respond to a person as they want.

I think it’s rude,  at least respond or acknowledge the person.

I have always been good at "select" texting. I choose the people that I feel like responding to. If a person's text doesn't intrigue me why would I respond?

It is rude not to acknowledge the person . But a perfect sign not to do business with them ; and that you are not communicating the value to them of talking to you. “Ghosting” people is bad ; but sometimes people are going through stuff : so you can never really judge.
