My initial reaction was negative, but then I gained some clarity. This game will help the NFL rebound from this years salary cap woes. It’s a good move, even if the players don’t like it.

NFL players have spoken out about how an extra game will be horrible to have in terms of recovery, especially if they still have to compete in the playoffs. After the NFL took away the BYE for the 2 seed in the playoffs, adding another game is a bad move.
